What are good brands of (inexpensive, but not cheap) luggage?

I am in need of a new luggage set. I only need a 21 inch and 26 inch rolling luggage. (of course sets might come with more, but that's my main need) I have around $100 to spend on the set. I don't want cheap luggage, but don't have the money to spend on brands like Samsonite.
Some brands I've looked at are Protocol & American Tourister.
What are your opinions on those brands and are there any others that you'd recommend.

Ross is a good place to buy close-out luggage, they have some good brands and I've bought several there. I bought my last suitcase at Kohls because they had a good sale, many times 50-60 % off.
