swimsuit problem on my vacation?

Ok so right now i am in Frace and it is pretty awsome here exept that half my luggage go lost in the flight from illinios to France and i didnt have a tag so its long gone. Luckily it was only the small bag but that bag just happened to have my swimsuit in it. Worst part im at a beach resort in France. Ive tried to get in with some shorts on but no luck i cant get in. FML. Im 14 and am here with my parents in france and right now they are all at the pool and beach. I looked around all day for a swimsuit around town but all i found was speedos (and trunks that were way too huge), everyone wear speedos here (the locals). Im here for a week and a half and right now im debating if i should just go get a speedo and deal with it. I dont think it would be too awkward because half the people here wear them but both my younger bro and my dad are wearing trunks and it will be super awkward to wear it around them and my mom. What do you think i should do?

Just go for the speedo, as long as you've got some muscle on your legs =) Nobody there will care, and if your family gives you crap, ignore them
