Can you take 2 laptops in your carry-on luggage?

I'm traveling abroad tonight on business and want to take both my work & personal laptops with me. Does anyone know if there are specific rules about having more than one laptop in your carry on?

Yes, you can do this; I've done it before when I moved here (Italy). I put both into the same laptop case, but you could put one in your carry-on and the other as your personal item. It's a pain going through security since you have to take out both laptops to run them through the scanner, but there really isn't any problem.
