Storing luggage at Manchester airport or train station?

I am flying from Manchester airport in a few days, arriving at Manchester by train.
I want to go to Manchester a bit earlier and have a look around the city. Where can I leave my luggage so I don't have to carry it around?
Are there any lockers at the Manchester airport or at one of the train stations in the city centre? (Oxford Road or Piccadilly)?

If it's not possible, what can I do with the luggage?

The Excess Baggage Company has a left luggage office on platform 10 at Piccadilly station, open Monday - Saturday 0700 - 2300, Sunday 0800 - 2300. Not cheap - if I remember correctly it's about £6 per item per day.

The 4-pin wiring connector is rather long; and, may still be wrapped around the hitch.) was stolen on 08/08, by a fellow who was supposively helping him fix his place up to rent (so, my friend wouldn't lose his home of 25 years.) We knew this guy by the name "Mike Kaylen;" but, that was an alias. child travelling on holiday?

Hi we are going on holiday in December and my son will be 14 months. He will probably get a free child place and i'm just wondering what way it works. I assume we don't get a luggage allowance which is fair enough as we can just take his stuff on as hand luggage, but do you have to pay to take a buggy? If so does anyone know how much it is and if there is a weight limit?
most buggies seem to be between 6-7.5kg, just checking these are ok. my buggy definitely won't be over 32kilos ermentru, my babies not a sumo wrestler lol!! only jokin!!

you can take a buggy and you can use your buggy right up until you board the plane they put it through the machine at the security part... no luggage allowance and its more expensive to take a baby under 2 cos you have to pay on the plane for them also they have to sit on your knee.. so make sure you ask for a safety strap.. cos they never just give you them...
