I booked my flights separately. I first bought a one way ticket to Seattle and booked another one way ticket to Chicago. (both flights take off the same day). How do I transfer my checked baggage? And do I pay both baggage fees? ( I'm taking Alaskan and United)

Also can anyone recommend any cheap but decent hotels for a single traveller in London?

A friend of mine has a portable folding corner she and her husband uses for time-out punishment when on outings. It is made of two large sheets of plywood connected by hinges so it can be stood on end and opened to form a corner when one of her kids gets in trouble.. When they leave for a trip, they tie it down on the luggage rack on top of the minivan. It folds together when not being used. Isn't this tacky?

I've seen a lot of people with this bag, in many colors and it loks like an everyday bag. Perfect for me. It is made of nylon i believe.. the handles and closure flap is made of brown leather. I've seen it in various sizes from totes to handbags. i asked my friend and she said it is called a Burton but when i googled it i don't see any bag like that all i see are luggages.

Does anyone know what the name of this bag is? Please i don't have a picture.
