What is the easiest way to go from Narita airport to Shinjuku?
I will be visiting Japan in about 2 weeks and the rail system is a little overwhelming. Since I will be carrying luggage, I am looking for the easiest way to get to Shinjuku on the rail system.
Take the Narita Express (N'EX). This is the express train service from Narita Airport to Central Tokyo. The train has overseas travelers in mind and there is extra space for large pieces of luggage.
The service runs hourly and many trains (but not all) stop at Shinjuku. It costs 3110 Yen.
Compared to most large international airports the terminal at Narita is small and compact and easy to navigate around. The N'EX stops are both Terminal 1 and 2.
You can purchase tickets in advance, but It is recommended that you purchase your ticket after arriving at the airport.
