Do you think KLM would notice an extra 3.cm on my hand luggage?

We'll be flying with KLM and I want to buy a small trolly case to use as hand luggage but nothing seems to meet the size. They always seem to be a bit bigger in one direction. I know some airlines use size guide thingies. If your bag will fit through the hole you're ok, but we've always used small bags before, so have never put it to the test.

The permitted size is 55x35x25 Argos have one 50x38x17.5 will I get away with it do you think?

One piece of hand baggage, with maximum dimensions 55 x 35 x 25 cm is correct - I've spoken to KLM about this on your behalf, and the blunt answer is that you are taking a risk with the bag you are considering buying.

Not only may you have to put the bag in the hold, but it's likely to contain your valuables and I would never suggest that such items are left in hold luggage.

There are plenty of other cases, so I would strongly suggest that you look at these.
