How can I choose some new check in luggage (such as a suitcase) which is light and strong?

Which brands do you recommend?

What style do you find the best?

I am looking for a bag to carry around 40 pounds (20kg).
I'm prepared to spend up to $200, but I expect to spend under $150.

What's your budget? Certain brands are a lot more expensive than others, but the cheaper brands can still be good quality. Swiss is probably the best brand out there, but they're more expensive. Another really good brand is American Traveler and they're also very good but quite a bit cheaper than Swiss. You can buy these at Sears. Actually, Sears is a great place for luggage and they always have sales or decently priced lugage.
