How to get from Gatwick Airport to Piccadilly Circus?
I'm going to be spending a few days in London next week. What would be the easiest way to get from Gatwick Airport to Picadilly Circus, which is where our hotel is located? We will have a lot of luggage with us and least 3 piece for me and 3 for my husband. Any recomendations?
Take the Gatwick Express (train) from the South Terminal. It will take you directly to Victoria Station. Then take a cab to Piccadilly Circus. The total trip will take you about 1 hour. There is also a tube line (Piccadilly line) that will take you to Piccadilly but it would be a hassle to take your luggage from Victoria down to the tube (many escalators) then onto the tube which is usually pretty crowded.
