will walmart pay for my luggage stolen in their parkinglot ? ?

i was parked in a walmart parking lot (my bosses vehicle)
i went inside and when i came out of the store i noticed my luggage that was locked in the truck was gone.

they broke the lock on the door and stole everything i owned

i did call the police and had a report taken and also the walmart security people knew what happened

my boss doesn't want to file the claim on his insurance so i am stuck with nothing.

should i call walmart and try to get them to pay for it ?

You are wasting your time. And probably you haven't noticed but most parking lots have signs stating they are not responsible for stolen vehicles or valuables.

Their responsablity in the parkign lot is only limited to your personal safety but not to stolen property.

By the way your boss can't file a claim for your stuff; that would be fraud.
