Flying for the first time!?
Hey guys!
My school is going on a trip to Washington, DC. I'm excited. I'm not the least bit scared about flying, but I have a question in the luggage part...
......OK, I'm not taking a huge suitcase, just a Nike duffle bag to hold my clothes. But also, I'm taking a digital camera and a cell phone to take pictures and talk to family, of course.
I'm not taking a carry-on bag, so I was wondering....What do I do with my electronics?! Put them in a ziploc bag or just...leave them on top of my clothes and such in the main bag? I'm new to the whole flying thing, but ANY help would be nice!

Ok. Well, since I'm taking a duffle bag, what counts as a carry-on bag?
A school back-pack? I don't want to look stupid and have TWO duffle bags just for my camera and phone. Or a school back-pack that I use?
I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.
