I cant decide how to decorate my room...This is what I got..If its bad, Help me with ideas ) Thanks!?

The ideas I have are:

Movie & Music Theme
- Cream - Magnolia coloured walls
- Retro Pictures of Movie / Music stars
- Ocsars / awards / clapper boards / film reels ETC

Travel Theme
- Coffee coloured walls with a large brown world map
- Old Travel Posters / luggage cases / Old Pictures of famous Landmarks ETC

I was going to try and incorporate both.....have one wall dedicated to movies & music and the other to Travel - with the above mentioned wall colours.....Do you think this could work??

Or

I was going to try and blend everything together....World map / Movie pictures / music pictures / Landmark pictures / luggage cases / film reels.....
Do you think this could work or do you think this might be too much??

Do you have any other ideas that might look good maybe??

I suggest two walls of cream (opposite walls) and two walls of coffee (other opposite walls). The primary wall that you see first when walking into the room should be coffee color as it's a bold color and provides a bold, energetic feeling when entering the room, calmed by the cream color on the adjacent walls.

As for how to decorate around these colors, I would suggest retro pictures, shelves with film reels, etc, added to the coffee colored walls (with dark colored wall shelves) and the posters/large brown world map on the cream colored walls, this will provide contrast and help the map stick out really well.
