Can anyone tell me if Southwest is a good airline to fly?

I live in Philly so USAirways is destined to loose our luggage. I want to use Southwest but I'm hesitant because of their open seat policy. There are 3 of us flying and we want to sit together.

It is a good economy airline. The open seating is a mess. But you really need to check-in online to get in Group A. As long as you are in Group A you will have your pick of seats. There are really no great frills, so don't expect big meals or service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, they are very flexible with refunds, travel changes and missed flights.

Australia Airport luggage Guidelines? please help. .?

My family and I are travelling to New Zealand and we just bought suitcases, but we think they are too big or might exceed the weight load. What are the restrictions for luggage? Weight, and centimetres.

I flew to New Zealand from Brisbane last November and from what I can remember, there isn't a specific dimensions limit. You do however have to keep your luggage under 20 kilos. If you go over you will get fined (I think it is like $10 per extra kilo after that)!

Oh and your carry on baggage has to be 7 kilos or under, but they really don't check this.

Is it illegal to bring a bong on a plane?

I'm going to NYC from Fl in 2 weeks and I bought a friend a 2 foot glass bong for his birthday. It's never been used. I'd want to keep it in my carry on luggage just because I wouldn't want it to break.

How much does it cost to fix luggage zipper?

I have a nice luggage but the zipper handle fell off. The zipper teeth are fine though. So i suppose only the buckle needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know how much it'll cost to fix it?
And where I could get it fixed in Sydney? The only place i found on Internet if the luggage centre in Mascot, which is a bit too far from where I live. Somewhere around Liverpool area would be great.
