Travel Camera Bags Simplify Life for Photographers

Whether you're a professional photographer or just a casual shutterbug, at some point you'll find yourself looking at camera bags, trying to find the perfect one for a long trip. The requirements for a travel camera bag are a bit different than a standard bag you'd use to carry your camera and gear to a photography site for an afternoon. One great option for photographers who travel a lot is to get a removable trolley, sometimes called a modular trolley, that works with your camera bags to convert a standard bag to a rolling camera bag. These usually come with an adjustable handle and fasten securely onto your current camera bags with Velcro straps. The beauty of these is that you can use any of your camera bags with it, so if you're going on a long trip you can take that industrial sized camera bag, but switch to a smaller bag for a shorter excursion. You can easily detach the trolley and fold it up to stow in a luggage compartment or closet, then reattach it to any of your camera bags the next time you need it. On international flights, what are the regulations for luggage?Are there certain items I cannot take?

What is the maximum total pounds I can check in and are there things that are not allowed to be transported overseas? With my carryon, what am I allowed to take on?

As far as weight limits you have to check with your specific airline. Mine is allowing me 50 lbs each in 2 suitcases. I am paying $150 for an extra piece which they will let me take up to 70 lbs in it. You can pack sharps in your checked luggage but not in your carry on. Please do not put any liquids, lotions in your carryons. Just last week they threw out my one ounce liquids. No flamables.

Anyone have experience using the Takuhaibin to move luggage to Narita Airport?

I'm taking a trip from Tokyo to Shanghai next week and I have two huge check-in bags. Rather than carry them across the city, I want to use the Takuhaibin. What address do I put down for Narita Airport? Or do they just have a counter where you can go pick up any Takuhaibin deliveries to Narita Airport?

Yes I have. I have used Kuroneko-yamato (from 7eleven). They delivers your luggage to the departure halls in Narita (no need to get down on the first floor).
I keep 3-5pcs of Takuhaibin labels at home always(you can ask the convenience stores. It's free), and write the label at home, then phone them to pick up. Of course you can also carry in to 7eleven.
You can just write "Narita airport" and "Terminal 1 North Wing or Sounth wing", or "Terminal 2"
Final picking up time is around 4-6PM (it depends), if you wanna receive your luggage next day. But better send your luggage 2 days before you leave at least (just in case).

I'm not talking about the cart where you put all your groceries while still in the store.

I want a grocery cart that kinda looks like a luggage with wheels, lol, i really don't know how to describe it. And use it when the groceries I bought and all bagged and I could just pull the cart with my, so I won't have to keep going back to my car into my house.

It's like a plastic canvas square bag on an upright cart with 2 wheels so you can pull it. Mainly used for shopping, so i would also maybe try different department stores.
