Is it true that the "Homeland Security Department" views flatulent people as a threat to airline safety
I heard that people with excessive gas are no longer going to be allowed to fly on commercial airlines because the gas could build up and ignite unexpectedly.
I also heard that Michael Chertoff is considering a ban of Somsonite luggage on commercial flights for fear that gorillas might appear out of nowhere and start jumping on the luggage thus startling passengers so much that they might spill their $15.00 airline cocktails.
Is this true? It MUST be true because I read it on the internet.
A Dallas bound American Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Nashville, today, after a passenger reported a strong odor of sulfur, to a flight attendant.. The FBI interviewed all 99 passengers and was told by a passenger, that she had a "medical condition", which caused excessive flatulence..She then stated she lit several matches to cover-up the odor..The flight then continued to Dallas, however the passenger was not allowed to re-board the flight..
Nothing was said about "HSD", Michael Chertoff, or Samsonite.

Do hotels in Tokyo allow luggage storage at check out?
I'm going to Tokyo in March and trying to figure out if hotels in Japan allows guests to check their baggage at the front desk upon check out for 2 days. I'll be staying at the Century Hyatt. Thank you!
Yes, I have lived and worked in Japan before and have traveled there 30 or 40 times.
It is extremely common to store your luggage at a hotel while you go on a short trip to some other destination. Two days will not be a problem.
You will have no trouble at all especially since you are staying at an upper class hotel. You might only run into a problem at a ryokan.

Wireless RFID Handheld Reader with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS
DAILY RFID has recently unveiled its palm-sized RFID Handheld reader DL710 with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS. The wireless RFID reader is designed as a lightweitht terminal and is available in LF or HF version, with promotion price under 400USD this month.
The RFID Handheld reader DL710, with only 165g weight, is small and lightweight enough to fit in a pocket, thus enabling to find tagged items conveniently. And it allows for the capture of a comprehensive range of data – including RFID tags, barcodes and images.
In addition to the wireless communication function, the Handheld reader delivers high performance in information collection and management. It features 400MHz Samsung S3C2440 Processor, 128MB SDRAM and 64MB Flash ROM storage to protect data from resets or even complete power loss. And its 3800mAh battery can provide a long operate time to cater for the mobile operating request.
Together with the wireless technology through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPRS connectivity, the RFID Handheld reader it allows those RFID tag information to be transferred seamlessly from mobile devices to centralized system for back end processing. And it includes integrated RS232 and USB interfaces, thus giving practical application.
The new wireless RFID reader is suitable to a variety of applications, such as garment processing, pallet logistics, luggage handling and inventory management. Besides, it is using Windows CE 5.0 operating system for robust application support.
