Is it true that the "Homeland Security Department" views flatulent people as a threat to airline safety

I heard that people with excessive gas are no longer going to be allowed to fly on commercial airlines because the gas could build up and ignite unexpectedly.

I also heard that Michael Chertoff is considering a ban of Somsonite luggage on commercial flights for fear that gorillas might appear out of nowhere and start jumping on the luggage thus startling passengers so much that they might spill their $15.00 airline cocktails.

Is this true? It MUST be true because I read it on the internet.

A Dallas bound American Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Nashville, today, after a passenger reported a strong odor of sulfur, to a flight attendant.. The FBI interviewed all 99 passengers and was told by a passenger, that she had a "medical condition", which caused excessive flatulence..She then stated she lit several matches to cover-up the odor..The flight then continued to Dallas, however the passenger was not allowed to re-board the flight..
Nothing was said about "HSD", Michael Chertoff, or Samsonite.

Luggae Tag?

I have a bus full of Middle and High schoolers leaving to go to the other side of the country this July. We want to make group luggage tags. is there any cheap way to make luggage tags?:- i.e. Business cards?

I have dealt with students from another country travel through America. Their coordinator from the school they were traveling with had them purchase the a duffel bag with the school's monogram, mascot, etc. on it. You could also purchase luggages tags with the school's monogram on it. USE a water proof/ permanent maker to fill out the names on the luggage tags. You could also have one of the girls make pom- pom like luggage markers with the schools colors so you will know that they are all in your group.

Im going to Martha's vineyard on a vacation in a few weeks and i don'tknoww what to pack......?

For those of you that don't know what it is, its an island off of the south massachusetts coast.....

We will be staying for a week. MY mom told me to pack light because we need to be able to fit everything (all five of us) luggage and food in the back. So how many shorts, types of shoes, shirts, and etc should i bring

Hi, Martha's Vineyard is a very casual place so that hopefully will help you determine what to pack. You will not need fancy shoes or extravagant outfits.

You would do fine with a pair of flip-flops and one pair of casual shoes. You should have a couple of pairs of shorts for walking around the towns. You might also want to bring some light pants or nylon sweat-pants or capri's (don't know if you're a girl or boy) because it gets cooler at night on the Vineyard.

Remember to bring sunscreen...there are great beaches on the Vineyard...and sunglasses. You'll also probably want a camera.

Generally, the Vineyard is filled with folks in t-shirts and shorts...possibly polo shirts...but the "style" is very "beach casual". So, you won't need to bring much...and that should make your mom happy : )
