Is there a limit to the amount of electronics you can take from UK to Europe as hold luggage?
Your hold luggage is limited by weight not content. Obviously.
But you cannot take a laptop computer or a laptop battery in hold luggage.
You are limited to (this changes all the time) about 8g of Lithium in Li-Ion batteries. More than that and they won't allow it.
Unless it's a dangerous piece of kit, there's not much else to say on the matter.
I don't know how you're supposed to work out what 8g of lithium means in respect to a battery - but it's safe to say that laptops, rechargeable camera batteries etc are carried on, not put in the hold.
I've travelled with hard drives, camera gear, cables etc and nobody has ever even questioned/searched the contents.

swiss army knife in the USA?
im going camping in the USA in Maine in september. I wanted to take a swiss army knife as a tool. Will there be a problem with me carrying one, especially in my luggage (not carry on)

an advise to do with airlines would be very appreciated

i am interested in working with the airline. i am currently going to college to study business, leisure, travel & tourism and Spanish.
i'm not to keen on going in the aircraft i would rather have ground work. my aunt used to work with the VIPs and getting them to the lounge or whatever and now i think she works behind doing the tickets, luggage etc. although she did say that was quite boring.
i would be asking my aunt all this but i want to know right now ha.
also what would this VIP job be called?

is it worth going to college of 2 years or just the 1?

The type of role you are looking at would be in Customer Services, and typically would be called VIP services agent or similar. These would not be in abundance, but that doesn't mean they never come up.
The courses you are studying are fine, and I would stick to a two year program, as you'll gain more to help you go further in your career. Major airlines tend to have this type of service, and you should be looking at full service airlines, such as British Airways, Virgin, etc..

First Time on an airplane... I am going alone. I'm 16 and soo scared!! What do I do?
This is my first time on a plane an dI am going all by myself. I am flying from Toronto Ontario to Switzerland. there is a stop in montreal. What do I do/ what are the steps?
when do i drop off my luggage, how do I know which gate to go to? what do I do about the stop how do I know where to go. I'm so freaked out please help me.
I've never traveled internationally, but I'll try to answer this the best I can.
I took my first flight at age 20. I also flew alone. From California to New Jersey with a stop over in Texas. It was also my first time ever being out of California.
One thing that helped me feel better was to research the airports I was going to be at. Almost every airport's website will have a map of what gates are where and what airlines are at each terminal. It was very reassuring for me. This will give you a much better idea of where the baggage claim is, and where the check in counter is as well.
Another thing I would suggest is, if possible, check in and print your boarding pass online...before you get to the airport. It really does save a lot of time! That way you only have to check your baggage and it's one less thing to worry about when you're there.
As for security, You put everything in a Rubbermaid bin and it'll go through the X ray machine on a conveyor belt. You must take your shoes off, so don't wear big lace up boots! You'll hand your boarding pass to the TSA agent on the other side of the metal detector, and then you'll walk through. If nothing beeps, then you're done! Collect your stuff from the conveyor belt and put your shoes back on, then find your gate and take a seat!
Your gate will be printed on your ticket. When you get Montreal for your layover, when you get off the plane they will usually have a representative from the airline telling people what flights are at what gates. If not, they have large TV screens throughout the airport which lists all the flights and gate numbers.
As for the actual flight...Nothing anybody will say is going to make you feel better about going by yourself. I was a nervous wreck (sweating, fidgeting, coming close to hyperventilating) until we were up in the air and at altitude (when the plane levels off in the air), then I was perfectly fine. I am terrified of heights, but for me it was actually better to sit by the window...Kinda fun to watch everything below!
The only thing that will be different about your trip is you'll have to go through Customs. I'm sorry I don't have any information about that! Good luck on your trip!!

Advice on finding and buying a light suitcase?
