Can anyone tell me if Southwest is a good airline to fly?

I live in Philly so USAirways is destined to loose our luggage. I want to use Southwest but I'm hesitant because of their open seat policy. There are 3 of us flying and we want to sit together.

It is a good economy airline. The open seating is a mess. But you really need to check-in online to get in Group A. As long as you are in Group A you will have your pick of seats. There are really no great frills, so don't expect big meals or service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, they are very flexible with refunds, travel changes and missed flights.

Australia Airport luggage Guidelines? please help. .?

My family and I are travelling to New Zealand and we just bought suitcases, but we think they are too big or might exceed the weight load. What are the restrictions for luggage? Weight, and centimetres.

I flew to New Zealand from Brisbane last November and from what I can remember, there isn't a specific dimensions limit. You do however have to keep your luggage under 20 kilos. If you go over you will get fined (I think it is like $10 per extra kilo after that)!

Oh and your carry on baggage has to be 7 kilos or under, but they really don't check this.

how does TSA lock work? How custom unlock the luggage without breaking the lock?

TSA has keys for ALL TSA Locks, thats how they open it and dont break the lock... as for any other locks not TSA, they will either break the lock or the end of the zipper itself or somehow open it with a master key they may have... I have never had any problems with my locked luggage personally, Ive had locks on there that were not TSA, and never had my locks broken, & zippers broken... but I did have a sheet of paper inside my luggage stating that TSA had opened it just for security reasons... but that only happened once, and the only way I found out was when I got home and unpacked...

I have read the TSA guidelines on what you can " carry on " in your pocketbook, but I still have a question?

They say to keep your pills in the prescription bottles and place them in a plastic bag. Well to save room, I would like to keep my week supply in one of those daily reminder plastic see-through cases that have the days of the week on the lid. Will that be OK? I would keep the rest of the pills in their bottles and put them in my checked luggage. Has anyone flown lately and used one of those daily remindere things?
